Brand voice gets you close, but it was never built to catch the small, mechanical stuff — a banned word slipping through, a sentence running too long, the wrong dash style. Until now, fixing those meant manually editing every piece of AI-generated content, every time. Style Guide Rules changes that: set your writing constraints once, per brand, and Brande.ai enforces them automatically across everything it generates.
- Available to all Brande.ai accounts.
Why Style Guide Rules Matters
- Ban words and phrases for good. Add banned words, approved terminology, and automatic word replacements — no more chasing down “synergy” after the fact.
- Control structure and tone. Cap sentence length, set formality and reading level, and steer clear of rhetorical questions or contrastive clauses, all from one panel.
- Standardize the details. Number formatting, punctuation, Oxford commas, en-US vs. en-GB spelling — lock in the mechanical choices once instead of correcting them per post.
- Works alongside your Brand DNA. Brand voice shapes how your content sounds; Style Guide Rules enforces the hard constraints on top of it, so nothing slips through either layer.
How to Set Up Your Style Rules
- Go to Account → Style Guide Rules.
- Expand any section — Style & Voice, Sentence Structure & Rhetoric, Word & Phrase Rules, Tone & Register, Numbers & Data, Punctuation & Formatting, or Spelling & Region — and toggle the rules you want enforced. An Unsaved changes badge appears as you go.
- Click Save Rules. Your rules are saved to your selected brand only and won’t affect any other brand in your account.
- Generate content as usual. Every new piece — LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Script, Content Strategy, Facebook, Ideation, Long-form, Reel Script, Write from Scratch, Repurpose — now applies your rules automatically.
Notes & Details
- If you don’t set any rules, nothing changes — content generation behaves exactly as it did before. This is entirely opt-in.
